How Do I Know My Pet Will Be Safe?

50 years of experience is testimony to the care we take, with a focus on your pet's welfare. Like you, your pet flies in a pressurised cabin with the temperature set by the captain at a comfortable 18ºC.

We strictly follow the protocols laid out by IATA in the Live Animals Regulations manual. The regulations cover key areas such as crate specifications, airport and airline restrictions, and safe travelling conditions. In addition to the Live Animal Regulations (LAR) Dogtainers call on a nationwide network of government accredited vets to ensure timely blood tests are met and all necessary vaccinations are given all within a controlled veterinary environment minimising the risk to your pet.

The shortest routes to all destinations are chosen. If a direct route is not possible, where time permits Dogtainers staff will do a personal comfort stop in transit at the airport terminal. Your pet will have access to water throughout the flight. Why Should I Hire a Pet Transport Company?

Pet transport is complicated and detail-oriented. Each country has unique entry requirements that vary depending on the species, breed, and age of your pet. Pets must travel in approved crates of particular sizes, and be fully vaccinated by government approved veterinarians by certain dates. If any of these details are wrong, your pet might not be able to fly when you want them to. What's more, local laws and regulations are changing constantly. So even if you do your due diligence, unless you're constantly checking the approved channels, you might miss something.

That's where we come in. Dogtainers take the stress out of international pet travel. We can manage the logistics of world pet travel for Any Animal, Anywhere, Anytime. We receive updates on all changes to country rules and regulations, and are partners with some of the biggest airlines in the world, including Qantas, Air New Zealand, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, and more - allowing you and your pet peace of mind.

  • Health check with your vet – Before travel, discuss your pet’s health with your veterinarian to ensure they are fit to travel.
